Calendula ointment

Calendula is a powerful antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal topical application that you put on open cuts.  No germs can thrive in the presence of Calendula and it can draw out deeply embedded dirt.  Calendula ointment is wonderful for cuts, scrapes and falls and prevents too early of scab formation at the wound site and keeps on actively working on the site until the wound is healed, this helps to prevent scars and infections.  Avoid changing bandages frequently, as this interferes with the healing process, and causes scab formation too early, which can result in scarring.  When cleaning a wound, always clean outwardly away from the wound, so you're not spreading germs back into the sore.  Calendula is listed for neglected wounds; painful wounds and wounds that tend to break open and give off a puss discharge; infected wounds and offensive wounds.  Calendula ointment is also good for diaper rashes of babies, and can soothe the dry skin of eczema and psoriasis and sunburns.
