Essential oils
Lavender essential oil is among the most sought-after and adaptable essential oils in the realm of aromatherapy. Extracted from the Lavandula angustifolia plant, this oil encourages relaxation and is thought to alleviate anxiety, fungal infections, allergies, depression, insomnia, eczema, nausea, and menstrual cramps. You can apply a few drops of lavender essential oil directly onto your skin, with or without a carrier oil (such as liquid grape seed oil). This essential oil can be used on the crown of your head, behind your ears, on your neck, and at your temples. If the scent of the oil is too intense, or if you have sensitive skin, you can mix it with a carrier oil. Many people use Lavender Oil by placing a few drops on their pillow to aid sleep; however, to prevent staining your sheets and bedding, you can place the drops on a handkerchief or facecloth laid over the pillow.
